The Stanislas Sextet is made up of two American musicians, the violinist John Fadial and the cellist Beth Vanderborgh.
These North Carolina
musicians met the members of the Stanislas Quartet in Nancy, France, in 1994 and, as a group, decided to explore together the magnificent repertoire
for string sextet. The Stanislas Sextet has subsequently performed regularly on both sides of the Atlantic.
In 2006, the Stanislas Sextet was invited to do a residency at UNCG, and their concert given at the North Carolina Museum
of Fine Arts in Raleigh resulted in an enthusiastic article in The Classical Voice of North Carolina.
