About Us

The Mission of Music for a Great Space (MGS) is to present a series of inspiring musical performances and educational offerings, opening doors to the diverse cultural interests of the Piedmont Triad community through vocal, organ, and other instrumental performances. MGS is an independent non-profit musical arts organization.

 

 

Season Tickets:
$100 (seniors $80) for 7 master tickets.
Each master ticket admits one to ANY EVENT.
 
NEW! 4-Concert Flex-Pass:
$55 for 4 master tickets.
Each master ticket admits on to ANY EVENT.

PLEASE VISIT OUR RESTAURANT PARTNERS

The following discounts are available to season ticket holders on the night of each Music for a Great Space concert.

Southern Lights- Arrive at the restaurant before 6:00 p.m. for the "Early Bird Special."

 

1618 West Seafood Grill- Arrive at the restaurant by 6:00 p.m. for the 3-course meal, $14.95.

 

Bistro Sophia- One $25 prix-fix dinner, including one glass of wine, per Master Ticket.

 

Undercurrent- Each person will receive 10% off (food only) the seasonal sampling menu (or current similar offering) the evening of a concert (except on dates when the restaurant is not open to the general public). Ticket holders must arrive at the restaurant before 6 p.m. and be ready to order by 6 p.m. When making reservations, please specify that you are going to the MGS concert that evening.

 

 

 

Our "GREAT SPACES"

Christ United Methodist Church, located at 410 N. Holden Road in Greensboro, which features dynamic acoustics and a C. B. Fisk mechanical action organ.

The UNCG School of Music, located at the corner of W Market St. and McIver St. in Greensboro, which houses the Recital Hall, an acoustically vibrant and visually beautiful concert space.
